Apprentice Electrician

Description/Duties

Mustang Contracting is an established and growing Commercial Construction Electrical Contractor contractor based out of Surrey, BC, with active projects throughout the Lower Mainland. We are looking to expand our team with a motivated, hard-working individual looking for secure, year-round work to develop their skills as Electricians (2^nd -4^th year Apprentices).

Qualifications

• Valid BC Driver's License & reliable transportation
• Completion of ELTT or equivalent
• Motivation to follow instructions & complete tasks in a timely manner
• Good customer service skills
• Personal hand tools
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to work with others and or independently on assigned tasks
• Professionalism, Excellent Time Management & Communication Skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Learning from the master electrician and completing all assigned duties.
• Identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting, and assisting with repairs of equipment and electrical faults.
• Traveling out to various public and private spaces to assist the master electrician.
• Interpreting blueprints and schematics.
• Completing electrical installations and carrying out various maintenance duties.
• Working irregular hours and overtime when required.
• Communicating with clients in a professional, courteous manner at all times.
• Collaborating with construction workers and other crew members.
• Journey-person to assist in development with other team members and apprentices skills while working as Electricians.
• Other related duties as required.
• Full-time, Permanent
• $20.00-$32.00 per hour
